Asia - Mango

The mango is a tree originating from India which is now grown in all tropical countries, mainly for its fruit. The yellow, fibrous flesh of the fruit is delicious, and its pit contains an edible kernel which is used to make a very rich paste, used locally to thicken sauces. By pressing this kernel, a plant oil is also produced.

In cosmetics, mango oil – rich in omega-9 fatty acids – protects the skin from dehydration, nourishes it and provides suppleness and comfort. Mango leaf extract – rich in anti-free radical and antioxidant polyphenol derivatives – protects the skin against UV aggressors.
